You Live Here, I Work Here

I mentioned earlier in the Ma An' Shan post that Wuhan is undergoing massive construction. It is happening within the blink of an eye. When I arrived in August, I noticed my beloved McDonald's was no longer standing and the home of some fellow expats was unrecognizable due to construction near their bus stop. I was utterly amazed. Then as fate would have it one night I had to walk through the construction zone due to a bus route change. As I walked I realized people are living and conducting business in the middle of this mad house. 

I ventured to the construction zone today, hopped off the bus and started snapping.
